The first O.A.D. Collection

In 1853 Ole Andreas Devold embarked on his journey, and since then our wool has been formed in the roughest conditions. Through breaking waves, we have endured. We have stood fast when the wind has forced the rain sideways, leaving nothing dry in its wake. We have felt the sharp cold on our cheeks and the warm sun on our backs.

We have also noticed how nature is changing. How it feels a little warmer, but at the same time wetter, harsher, and more intense. Now, more than ever, we have to make responsible choices.  

Using our knowledge of wool and dedication to craftsmanship, we achieve the finest quality from the most robust material, crafted to withstand storms and to comfort on late summer nights. With profound care for nature, we create knitwear that lasts, that can be passed on – a legacy for times to come.
